At District Family Dental, we want each child to have a nurturing and soothing experience so they’ll always look forward to their next visit with us!
We provide toys and games to add an extra dimension of fun to your child’s dental experience. During their visit, they will also get to brush Rex’s (our adorable plush mascot) teeth and put their imagination to use while learning to care for their own teeth.
Your Child’s First Visit
We want to make a positive impression on our little patients with the goal of giving them a beautifully healthy smile that they can enjoy for the rest of their life. The first dental visit can be a very exciting time for you and your child. To ensure this will be a fun and happy experience, we would like to make the following suggestions:
- Speak positively about their upcoming visit and explain that we will be “counting and shining” their teeth.
- Tell them that they will get to play games on our iPads, watch cartoons and even receive a new toothbrush and prize for being a “good helper”.
- Let them know that at the end of their visit, they will get to take a picture with the dentist to show family and friends.
